NOBUHLE MATHABA

Senior Associate

Nobuhle Mathaba obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Political Science and Legal Theory in 2016 and further obtained her LLB in 2018 from Rhodes University.

Nobuhle served her articles of clerkship at a reputable boutique law firm in Rosebank in which she gained experience in insurance and commercial law. She was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in May 2021. She joined the firm as an associate in April 2023 and has been promoted to Senior Associate.

Nobuhle specialises in corporate and commercial law with varying interests in insurance law as well as dispute resolution.

Anastasha Truter

Associate

LLB

Miss Truter obtained her LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg in 2019.

She completed her articles of clerkship at a law firm in Randburg, where she gained valuable experience in company secretarial work and civil litigation.

Miss Truter was admitted as an attorney on 8 October 2023. She joined the firm as an associate in June 2025. Specialising in commercial law, with a particular focus on the mining industry.

Sonwabile Matilose

BCom Acc, BCom(Hons)Acc, LLB

Sonwabile obtained his LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2022. He also holds the degrees in Bcom Accounting and Bcom (Honours) in Accounting, both from the University of Johannesburg.

Prior to ceding his articles, he worked for a boutique law firm in Sunninghill, specializing in tax law and tax court litigation. Sonwabile also worked for KPMG South Africa from 2017 to 2023, in the tax department as a Tax Consultant, where he specialized in  Expatriate  tax  and  high  net-worth  clients.  He  also  has extensive knowledge in corporate tax and Value Added Tax.

Sonwabile joined the firm in July 2024 as a Candidate Attorney, where he focused on commercial law and high court litigation. He is an Admitted Attorney of the High Court.

Nabeela Barawie

Candidate Attorney

BCom Law, LLB

Miss Barawie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Law and Industrial Psychology (2018) and a LLB degree (2020), both from the University of the Western Cape.

From 2021 to 2024 Miss Barawie served as a trainee legal advisor at a state-owned entity where she gained valuable experience in commercial, public, and procurement law.

Miss Barawie is currently completing her articles as a candidate attorney, with a strong interest in commercial litigation and mining law.
